Cora comes from the Latin "Cor", which translates to "heart." Cora Psychotherapy was founded with the mission to shift the focus away from simply treating symptoms of an issue to delving deeper, tackling the heart of the matter in order to promote true, lasting insight and healing for clients.

With an emphasis on systems thinking and cultural competency, Cora Psychotherapy was uniquely designed to effectively work with clients from our marginalized communities, who have, historically, been misunderstood and over-pathologized.
